April 14th, 2012 • Point Lobos State Reserve, Carmel, California
This capture was created at Point Lobos State Reserve with my son during an unplanned road trip down the central California coast. On this particular day the sky had a thick marine layer so I abandoned any hopes of getting a sunset capture and switched to creating long exposures. I used this an an opportunity to teach "mini-me" a bit about long exposure photography. I am not sure how much he remembers, but I am happy that he entertained me while I rambled on about calculating exposure times, etc. Thanks lil buddy!
