September 5th, 2011 • Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Pescadero, California

Pigeon Point is without a doubt my favorite lighthouse along the central California coast line. This 115 ft. tall white masonry structure perched on a cliff has served as a guiding light for ships since 1871. Sadly, this lighthouse is no longer equipped with the original 1000-watt Fresnel lens that created magnificent light beams seen miles away.
