Taipei Flow

August 5th, 2013 • Taipei, Taiwan

This is one of my personal favorites and coincidentally my first publication, as featured in Photography Week magazine! My vision for this scene was to create a unique and almost surreal perspective that captured the dramatic clouds, Taipei 101 and the surrounding ebb and flow of both motor and pedestrian traffic at rush hour. Determining the precise moment in time and “magic” shutter speed needed to capture the flow of traffic below while “freezing” the police officer proved to be quite challenging and required a lot of luck.
